TESTIMONIALS
From my very first visit to the salon, I experienced the best customer service of any of any salon I had been to in the past. I’ve been going to ZigZag now for over 4 years and I’m always greeted by name with a smiling hello or a big hug. These girls make me feel like I’m at home, and they are truly genuine in building relationships with all of their clients. I can always count on them for giving me the highest quality service combined with the best salon experience a girl could ever want. This is a one-stop shop! I won’t go anywhere else - they always make me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world!

Here are a few tips and tricks to keep your hair and your colour looking fabulous during the hot summer months.

 Cover up
The best line of defense in protecting your hair is a good hat (wide-brimmed) if possible or a scarf/bandana that hides your hair from the sun..
If your not one to wear a hat, apply a hydrating masque before  heading into the sun. Slick your hair back and and let the masque protect while conditioning!!

 Protect Your Hair

UV rays can harm your hair, fades color, dries it out and burns your scalp. This is why, you should always use a special UV hair protection product, the first essential step for your routine hair care. There products will also give your hair a  brilliant shine effect, they do for your hair, what sunscreen does for your skin.

Use a sun protecting shampoo and conditioner , such as L'Oreal Professionnel's "Solar Sublime" products, and also include styling products, that have a built-in sun protection factor (SPF).
UV protection and hydration as well as gentle cleansers to help remove chlorine and salt from the hair as well as a protection spray for added protection and a brilliant shine!! Avoid products containing alcohol or any other substance that would dry out your hair. Although, hair is exposed to the sun during every season, protecting it "from the sun" is very important. Do not forget to adequately protect your hair.

When spending time at the pool, wet your hair "first" this helps keep the chlorine from building up on the hair. Remember, rinse your hair after exiting the pool.
If you are in the pool regularly, use a gentle clairifying shampoo "weekly" to keep the chlorine build-up to a minimal.

Enjoy your time in the sun, knowing you are doing your best to protect and preserve your colour!!
